now however will you fill this blog so superbly while back in good old california?! i'm afraid my dear that none can compare with the beauty of ora devorah's jagged bangs, fanny's self portraits, or serene hawaiian beauty. though so as not to compel you to join the ever-growing circle of aborted blogs, please do put that video cam (at least something before film school) to good use... though watch out with the personal photo ops!!!! will miss you ever so dearly......
- your faithful sucker of a companion on all necessary mid-night/early morning near-suicidal trails (now that i have two feet firmly planted on my carpet, i feel no qualms about calling a spade a spade).
(that wasn't a complaint, merely a statement of current undisputable fact)

scout! fear not the inevitable- and i'll have plenty of interesting pics in and around california...(i'm expecting an increase in phone call volume). of course i'll still post hawaii pics (have you already forgotten the UH fishing hole [lit.]?)
to those who laugh in face of danger- i think a flashlight would have helped a heeluva lot more than a knife. and- climbing the ufo tower would have certainly been an adventure (give or take the FBI)...we'll have to redo it another time. let's call it a date...
great cookies, the way.

am searching for the fishing pole (no, i have surely not forgotten. though what exactly was there to remember, 'sides for our able expertise at waving 10 ft. bamboo poles and mutilating kyle's string?!), awaiting impatiently.
and yes, the knife definitely felt protective, 'specially with it being swung within inches of my face every couple of minutes.
date's still on (now i need someone to accompany me as third party)... enjoy cookies.
