My Plumeria Adventure (and then some)

yeah, so i brought home plumeria branches from hawaii (yes, nice and legal) and planted them in my backyard like in this pic. In a little pot with rocks at the bottom for drainage, good ol' miracle grow potting soil and miracle grow transplant hormone plant food. they grew pretty well for a while...grew leaves and all... but now 1 yr. later, there's not much progress...and one of them is dying. i was away for a bit and no one watered them...and now with all this rain, they're over flooded. so in a last ditch effort, i planted in the front yard this morning where (i think) there is more direct sunlight (for more hours) than in the backyard. also they have more room to grow (hopefully not too big) and the sprinklers actually work out there. meanwhile, one's looking shrivelled and droopy...

plumeria update:
they are seriously doomed. the sprinklers dont work where they are located and i keep forgeting to water them....and it's been pretty dry and hot.
oh well.
on a positive note, their day of judgement is a few months down the line...
