Teapack's Eurovision Entry: A Tale of Israel Bravado...Solely in the Music Industry

If you are not yet a Tipex fan ("Teapacks" for Other People), how about now?

Finland tried to ban the song, saying it was "too political". Let's not insult Iran. The irony here may one day kill someone.

Kobi Oz (lead singer) says: if you try to censor the lyrics, we're outta the contest.

Ahh, ha'levai the government would have a similar agenda. (No, not to start a rock band.)

Side note:

A quote (from Kobi Oz's comments on his new album "Radio/Musica/Evrit" after his divorce): There is nothing sadder than seeing a sad clown. :o(

He's like under 5 ft. and was married to a supermodel over 5"6 (probably taller) and their marriage lasted a while... Haha. This blog is a gossip column. Haha. This may turn into a Tipex Fan blog.

So I wouldn'd be wrong when I assume that you are one of the people who get offended when MBD say "Etnix, Tipex, who knows the difference anyways?" , right?

It seems to me that MBD meant no offence to either of the bands but intended to put down modern Israeli music in general by his apparent ignorance.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that "modern Israeli music" is offended since science has yet to discovered whether music genres indeed have feelings.

In other news, my blog is morphing again. You may disparage.
